PhotoImpact X3, Opens Automatically

Hello,

I recently purchased PhotoImpact X3 and when I use my Delkin Device Card Reader, it opens automatically and also the screen about uploading images. Since I use a Nikon camera most often the images are in NEF which PhotoImpact can not read. So how do I turn off and not have PhotoImpact X3 and the uploading screen NOT OPEN ?

That sounds more like the default setting in Windows rather that anything inside Photoimpact

have a look in - "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\AutoPlay" you may have accidentally set something in there

Hello Brian, Thanks for the reply.

I went to; Control Panel>AutoPlay> Pictures> Import files using Nikon Transfer 2 . When I use my card reader a PhotoImpact screen opens and asks about downloading files, PhotoImpact Program Opens and also Nikon Transfer... all three at the same time. So I have to click off/close the Screen for downloading files using PhotoImpact and click off/close the PhotoImpact Program. Then I use Nikon NX2 to upload my NEF files.
