Importing an .iso file into videostudio
I wonder if I may ask another question. Is it possible to insert an iso file directly onto the timeline for subsequent editing? I have a lot that I've created from all my DVDs. Rgds, Glenn

Re: Importing an .iso file into videostudio
Not an iso file I'm afraid Glenn it will create them and burn a DVD from them but not import for edit - but you can import the original DVD straight into Videostudio - investigate "Insert Digital Media" after right clicking on the timeline. Also available from "File >> Insert Media File to Timeline (or library) >> Insert Digital Media"
An easy alternative would be to download the free VLC player from http://www.videolan.org/
this will play an iso exactly as if it were a DVD - chapters/scenes and all - and also provides the facility to record it direct to your PC as a file you can then insert into Videostudio

Re: Importing an .iso file into videostudio
Hi
the iso file I assume is a dvd iso
Basically it is a zipped VIDEO_TS Folder
Use win zip or similar to extract the contents.
Then use VS to import digital media from the folder.
IF you have the dvd disc then as Brian says you can import from that

...Or you could "mount" the ISO so that it appears to the computer to be an actual drive, and import from there...
