Video Studio X7 transistions

Post by 654321 »

One of the video studio versions included a couple of transitions effects I don't see in VS X7. Two of the ones I am looking for were stars and hearts. Is there a way I can download them? Thanks for any help.

I don't recall a hearts transition ever being part of what comes with VS -- and I am going back to version 7, not X7... Those sorts of transitions usually come as part of specialty transition packages, such as those made by proDAD and other companies. Both the Adorage and Vitascene transitions which came with X8 Ultimate and X7 Ultimate have a number of heart transitions. But note that these are add-ons which came with the Ultimate package, and they are not an integral part of X8 and X7 Pro versions.

As for stars, well there is a Star transition which has been part of VS for a long time. I have used it a couple of times in earlier versions, and it is still there. But I suspect it will not be what you might be after. It is a sort of simple wipe with the tiny star appearing in the centre of the preceding clip and expanding out, in the shape of the start, to reveal the next clip. I suspect you may be more wanting a spangly, starry effect with quite a few starts twinkling across the screen during the wipe. But again, you are more likely to find these in specialty packages -- although a quick look at the Adorage and Vitascene offerings did not show me any...
