I just found a new PSP (X8) quirk when using "Colorize" in the Adjust -> Hue & Saturation window. If you have colorize checked, the preview is not correctly updated when you uncheck it (although it does change the colors...).
I may be seeing other similar problems with the preview not being updated or updated correctly as options change... but this one I can reproduce. Others?
X8 does not refresh preview when colorize is unchecked ...

Re: X8 does not refresh preview when colorize is unchecked .
I checked this ..
Set at default, I checked Colorize.
The Saturation slider went to 0.
I un-checked the Colorize button, it reverted to Default, the Preview window showed the default.

Re: X8 does not refresh preview when colorize is unchecked .
OK, just repeated this exercise:
Open Adjust Hue/Saturation/Lightness
at this point Colorize is unchecked. Settings are as Last Used, which includes Hue set to -15 at the moment, saturation at -2 along with Preview on Image checked.
Check Colorize
the preview window (and image) get colorful and the Saturation goes from -2 to 50.
Uncheck Colorize
the settings revert to Last Used, but the previews in window and On Image remain "colorized"

You might want to reset using the Shift key and see if that makes a difference.

Re: X8 does not refresh preview when colorize is unchecked .
In my case when I check Colorise, The Hue goes to 0 and Saturation goes to 0 and I have a black and white image - no color at all.SJS wrote:

Unchecking Colorise and all (Hue, Saturation and Lightness) revert to the previous settings. The image and After Preview window show the effect of these settings as I would expect.
This is 32 bit version of X8 on Windows 8.1
So no reproducible bug here unless I am missing something in your instructions.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Re: X8 does not refresh preview when colorize is unchecked .
As noted, I have the setting in the "Hue/Saturation/Lightness" window set to "Last Used", I don't see this behavior if I choose "default" from the options list.
Also I am running 64bit PSP X8
