I am having a problem similar to but more severe than that discussed in the following topic:
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... on#p259799
I cannot select certain page sizes in Aftershot Pro 2 (either 32 or 64 bit) with either my Canon Pro 100 or Canon MG 5620. When I click on page settings, paper size I can select 4x6, or 5x7, but when I click OK it is not actually selected. It does let me select certain sizes such as A4 and 8.5x11, but not the ones I really need. I have reinstalled the most recent print drivers and updated AFP, deleted the AFP print.queue file. Any thoughts to correct or work around this other than printing outside of ASP? No other program has this problem, including Paintshop Pro.
Thanks

Re: bug-paper selection -canon printers Windows 10
I'm having the exact same problem. I'm using Windows 7 64bit with a Canon Pro-100 printer.
From ASP2, when I chose, "File", "Print", a print window opens and in that window for "Print Layout" I'm using "Fixed Size", "Custom" and 13.00 X 19.00 inches. If I click on "Scale crop" I get no image, but if I pick "Scale reduce" I see the photo I wish to print.
Then I go to "Page Settings" and while I have a wide choice, it keeps reverting to A4 while I need A3+. I was able to print out one 8 X 11 photo unfortunately on 13 X 19 stock.
I'm able to print from LR an PS CS6 using a Canon plug-in. This plug-in is not available for ASP. Is it the lack of plug-in compatibility that's causing these problems printing to the Canon Pro-100?
All of my drivers are up-to-date.

Re: bug-paper selection -canon printers Windows 10
One work-around I used this morning was to export the photo as a jpeg from ASP2 to LR and then use the Canon plug-in (Canon Print Studio Pro which is bundled with the Pro-100 printer) to print a 13 X 19 finished product. But this work-around sure does take the shine off ASP2 as an alternative to LR.

No, the plugin were designed only to work with Adobe and Canon products. Paintshop Pro paper selection works fine without it.JohnInNJ wrote:I'm having the exact same problem. So I finally found a way around this to select the correct paper size. If you select print it brings up the printer dialog box. Hit preferences and through the tabbed menus there choose your paper size and it will stick.

Thought AfterShot Pro3 would be an improvement. That is not the case as the print module does not work properly.

I can confirm that this bug continues in Aftershot 3. You still cannot select most paper sizes.

Re: bug-paper selection -canon printers Windows 10
I'm affected by this as well. Printing module in Aftershot Pro 1, 2, 3 is pretty much useless.
My current workaround is to export a TIFF to Paintshop Pro and print from there ... But that means I had to buy another program.
Also, a TIFF file gets added to the Aftershot catalog every time, which I have to subsequently delete.
Really much less than ideal !
