Installing updates and graphics, letters etc

Have you tried re-installing Video Studio.

First you should try resetting the program
From the start menu, search for %appdata%
That should locate the Roaming folder, navigate to:-
C:\Users\r\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\18.0

Rename folder 18.0 to 18.0_old
Start Video Studio will create a new 18.0 folder

I have done all you said about the Roaming folder.
Still the same.
I have not reinstalled the programme yet.

OK. After all I have found a solution how to install all the free objects, letters etc.
As you know I had the problem that installing directly within Corel Video Studio X8 it shows a message like this:

Well. As the programme allows to donwload de files and puts them in ProgramData/Corel/Downloads etc. what i do is to open the folder where the file to install is and
install it as administrator. Tha's all. I don't know if I explain well. Excuse my English.
What I don't understand is why when I try to install them within Corel Video Studio running it doesn't allow me to do it!
Somtething to do with Video Studio configuration?
I send a mail to Corel Help Center and they are looking into it. One of the techniciens ask me if I use Windows Vista. Now thwy know I use Windows 8.1.
By the way, I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and this time I have been able to install vsprox85_update, VSProX8SP1 and VSX85 Hotfix.
All plugins Boris, ProDAD, work perfect.

That’s good news
As the Service packs now install automatically I suspect that the DoMore downloads will also install ok.

From the Do More, Tenplates install no problem.
Titles, Tools or Graphics I get the problem mentioned in previous post.
I have to follow the method I have explained before to install them.
