Ulead Visdeo Studio 7.0 & 16:9 format
Does Ulead VS 7.0 support 16:9 format? How do I set it?

You can get it to do so, but it requires a little bit of fiddling.
First make sure you can see hidden files and folders.
Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead Video Studio\7.0
Locate the UVS.ini file in that folder and click on it to open it in Notepad. Scroll down till you reach the [VIODRIVER] heading and type in Advance=1 as a separate line under that heading. Make sure it is typed exactly as I have done, with no space after Advance, the equal sign and 1.
Save and close the file. When you re-open VS7 and go to project settings you should see a new ADVANCED button under the Compression tab which allows you to choose 16:9. You should also see an option to choose 16:9 aspect ratio in the MPEG capture settings during capture if the Ulead DSW MPEG Capture Plug-In has been selected.
