How to create DVD menus in VideoStudio X4

Yes, this is a very old version of VideoStudio, but that's the one I have.

I am not happy with the canned menus in this program. I am aware that they can be changed, but I haven't found out how to create the menu I want:

• I don't seem to be able to add buttons, so that all my nine titles are on one page
• I haven't found a way to remove menu elements (I can make them 99% transparent though)
• I haven't figured out how to build a simple menu from the ground up

What I want is a simple menu with a solid background colour or perhaps a photo background, no music, no animation, and as many text buttons as I want on a page. Thumbnails are nice to have, but not required.

Is there a way to accomplish that? Or can I download additional menu templates?

OK - lets get number 3 out of the way first - you cannot build a new menu from scratch in Videostudio - to do that you need Corel Photo Impact - and for most of us making menus from scratch in that is difficult and time consuming

But you don't really need to - you can change every thing in the supplied menus then save it for future use
