Popup when closing VS X6
Is there a backdoor where I can eliminate the popup after closing my VS X6 pro? When the popup opens, there is a check box for "Do not show this again" and when I tick the box the popup closes, but Sure enough it comes back many times. Not every time either, cant figure out why/when, but it may be on weekdays during a full moon. This has been going on for over a year and decided to try the forum today. The version is registered. Thanks all.

Re: Popup when closing VS X6
Hi
Have you registered the program?
Sorry you are having this problem it can be quite annoying.
After a recent re-install of my programs I was also getting the popup window.
Obviously hit the Do Not Display did not seem to do much, tried that a few times.
Today I am not seeing that window, I have not changed anything as far as I know but it no longer shows.
Maybe tomorrow I will be lucky?
There are some messages saved to your pc from Corel, I believe one may be associated with the Popup, finding the actual massage would be difficult.
But deleting all may remove the window.
As far as I know deleting the messages should not affect the functionality of the program
There are two message folders, I believe they are hidden by the operating system so you have to choose to Show Hidden Files and Folders from the Folder Tools- View options.
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Corel\Messages
C:\ProgramData\Corel\Messages Post edited -- removing this data has caused some issues, I am unable to access the Corel Guide
I have just removed the contents of the messages folder and saved them to a new folder on my desktop.
I will reply again if I have any problems running Video Studio.

Re: Popup when closing VS X6
Hi
I got around this by making the Messages folder in Appdata/Roaming/Coral read only.
I can't remember exactly what I did because it's some time ago but in Folder Security I've selected "Deny" (deny access) for all users and System.
I wouldn't normally select "Deny" so maybe just unchecking "Enable" didn't work.
Oh I nearly forgot, delete the content of Messages 1st.
