Particleshop not appearing in effects list in pspx8
I followed the directions on site, and nothing is listed under painter-particle shops in my effects. I see that particleshop was installed in Corel Program files, for x64 , I use pspx8 in program files x86. Is that the problem? Thanks, have submitted support request but have not been helped yet. I may have to request my money back

Re: Particleshop not appearing in effects list in pspx8
Do you observe a difference when running PSP X8 32bit or 64bit ?
I wanted to buy Particle Shop but it has no possibility to try before buying.
So, I decided to not buy. I think other users think like me. I don't want to run a request to have my money back if I'm not satisfyed. I want to try BEFORE to buy.

jrozie -- did you not install both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of PSP X8?

Re: Particleshop not appearing in effects list in pspx8
Hi Ken,
Yes, it turns out I did install both. I executed the 64 bit version and the plugin is in the effects list under painter as it should be. The problem is, I use the 32 bit version so that my older and much used filters will work. I even tried associating the 32 bit version with the plugin folder for the 64 bit version and that does not make it show up in the 32 bit version either. I tried copying the plug in file to my plug in folder in my documents as well as the plug in folder in pspX8 32 bit, and that did not work either. The support help I finally got was infuriating- uninstall my psp and then reinstall it and all will be well. Yeah right. I don't think it's possible to uninstall the 64 bit only and then reinstall the ParticleShop to see if it would install in the 32 bit. I am definitely not willing to try that. The description on site says you must have a 64 bit computer, then in the list of programs it just states the PSP programs it will work with, with no mention of it only working in the 64 bit. The whole installation and activation of the filter is strange. It installed in the PSPx864 bit folder, but not into the program itself-just into it's own folder. The on site directions tell you to copy the plug in file from one of the folders in Particle Shop and then make a shortcut on the desktop and then copy that to the program plug in folder and do the file association! I did this for both versions of PSPX8, but it absolutely will not work in the 32 bit version. The brushes are fun, but there are so few of them and other packs are expensive. I think I am going to call them today and tell them they can either let me talk to a support person for free or just give me a refund on the spot.

Ask for your money back, that might shake them into fixing the instructions and also fixing how you can use it in your chosen version.
Tell them their instructions aren't fit for purpose as they haven't explained you can't use it in the 32-bit version (which I also prefer).
Good luck.

Joelle, I did just that, and received a notice that I would get a refund in 4-7 days, but was pleasantly surprised to find it back in my account the next day.
