Best way to spotlight player in football highlight video

Was wondering what best way to spotlight a player for a football highlight video. Want to show the player to watch before the play starts. Something like a spinning circle or make everyone around the player dark for a couple of seconds. Thanks in advance.

The best way is to use the 'Track Motion' option

towards the end when Gripps adds the red picture that can be any symbol at all which you can produce as a jpg/bitmap/png

Then use a circle instead of the red image Gripps used and place it around the player.
