Adding Frames That I can use the Paintbrush tool on!Help Plz

Hello, im new to this ULEAD gif animator...and ive already started playing with it a little, and its really cool...But ive got something i need help with is...

When i stat ULEAD i first I press File>New then I choose what size and all i want..Then i get a blank white screen...I wanna paint my own things using the Paintbrush but I can only paint on 1 Frame because thats all i got... E.x i paint number "1" using the paintbrush tool on Frame 1, then i wanna paint e.g number "2" but there is no frames... ive tried copy/paste and everything...Please how do I add more frames that I can use the paintbrush tool on...Ive tried rightclicking and then selecting "Add Frame" but when i try to paint on it i get this message "No Active Object For The Operation" = ???

Try using Duplicate frames. Select a blank frame and then press Ctrl+F or right click and then click Duplicate frame. You can then do some painting on that frame. ^_^

Ok thanks for the reply, but ive already tried that and when i paint lets say a dot on frame 1 the painted dot will appear on all the other frames that ive got...How can i make it so that i the painted things only comes on the frame that im painting on..

General, Go to FRAME and choose ADD FRAME. Then go to OBJECTS and choose NEW BLANK. That will give you a new frame to work on.
