Quick zoom in and out

Ok, lately, I've been seeing a lot if not most videos on youtube, especially tutorials of all kinds, that are zooming in and out very quickly, and many times through the videos. Is that possible to do with VS or is that something I would have to do in Youtube or some other program?

Have you ever looked at the Video Zoom filter in FX?

I did after i googled it. The only thing is, it doesn't seem to work like a lot of videos I've seen on youtube where someone is explaining something and the video seems to make a gradual move in maybe taking a second or so, instead of an immediate jump in.
I guess I'll have to experiment with it.

you can zoom in and out as fast or as slow as you wish - you are in control

I personally prefer to use the 'Customize motion' option for zooming - I find it easier to control to my requirements.
