VideoStudio X8, Windows 10 64Bit
Just a personal preference to have a dedicated system for just VideoStudio
for a better (personal) end product file. A system without any running app
like anti-virus checking or updating patches, or other utilities running in
the background while a video is being rendered would (in my opinion) produce
a 'cleaner' final video product. Maybe am just paranoid!
My option would be to dedicate a machine for this purpose. I have some spare
machines I can clean up, and set it up for this purpose only.
My other option would be to create a dual-boot on my current system and use
the second boot just for VideoStudio.
The latter option to me would be better since my main system has a better
hardware components.
Thanks.

Re: Dual Boot System Just For VideoStudio X8
oka, It's all part of your workload and your environment.
I have dual XP/7 system I have the VS files on a different partition , hence I use the same core files on both systems.
Only the work files are duplicate.
AV is not an issue with VS.

It won't make it any cleaner, it'll be just as clean, a 1 is a 1 and 0 is a 0, but it may be finished slightly faster as the computer is only working on the video.
