Unable to Install patches

Having recently installed VideoStudio 8.5 Ult, I decided to download and install the patches and updates from the Corel Site.
I did this because Boris was not showing as installed on my screen.

However, when I try to install Service Pack 1, Hot Fix or Update, I get the message " The Installed Version Of The Application Could Not Be Determined -- The Setup Will Now Terminate."

Can anyone help?

Its their way of telling you that it is already installed. If you have 8.5 that is the latest version.

Thanks for the reply.

I did need to install the Boris Graffiti plug-in for Corel VideoStudio X8 Ultimate, prior to this Boris was not there.

I also needed to install the Corel VideoStudio X8 Pro/Ultimate Help files as they were not with my installation either.

I guess the message is correct although does not really mean much.

If we try to install SP2 to Video Studio the installer looks for the program using SP1, as SP2 is already installed it cannot find SP1 version and delivers the message.
“The Installed Version Of The Application Could Not Be Determined”

As I say the message is probably correct, but may have lost some meaning in the translation from Taiwan.

Cvsx8 has been quite fast in auto installing the service packs.

John can we say that you have now all Ultimate package installed and available to use.
