I just installed PSP X8 (64 bit and 32 bit) on Windows 10. I have two problems.
First problem - When I few a folder that has jpg and raw data, if I click on "Show RAW Versions" I see a combination of RAW and JPG versions. I don't see every JPG version but I see a lot of them. If I choose "Show JPG Versions" I do get only JPG Versions. Turning them off shows me both. Is there an explanation of why this is happening?
The second problem I have is that for some JPG files I do not see any EXIF data. I know these files have EXIF data because I can view it from Windows (properties for that file). I'm looking at pictures that were all taken with the same camera on the same date. Is anyone else having this problem?
Thanks,
Pat

And to make it a bit more interesting, if I add a new tag or re-add a tag to a photo the EXIF data returns.
I have copied these files from one disk to another. I wonder if Windows is losing something in the moving about. The EXIF data is only missing on some photos.

Re: PSP X8 RAW/JPG pairs and EXIF data
It is confusing. Note that the tool is labeled "RAW/JPG Pairs:" If you have RAW and JPG images with the same file name, e.g IMGP9580, turning JPG on shows only the jpg of the pair and vice versa for the RAW. This applies only to the pairs and the tool ignores all files that are stand alone. So, if you have a bunch of jpgs without a corresponding RAW file, changing the setting does nothing with respect to the display of these jpgs.Pitterpat wrote:First problem - When I view a folder that has jpg and raw data, if I click on "Show RAW Versions" I see a combination of RAW and JPG versions.
