Hi Danamac
Thanks for the new files, I will download but may not have time today.
Should have more time tomorrow to test these.
Very strange that a single file can cause different problems for Avchd and not Bluray.

Re: AVCHD files truncated when burned to disc
Based on your test result, I made repeated changes to the rendering project and managed to get a working hybrid DVD with both files and menus as originally intended. I still have no idea why this worked and anticipate future project issues could show up. Here's what I did:
I repeated the process of starting new projects using Maui OC.VSP I sent you. Each time I deleted a number of files from the beginning starting with the first 24 to get past the initial 2 minutes. I followed that with a new project for burning AVCHD folders with the new rendered file and no menus. I compared the source m2TS file with the Streaming file. This was done multiple times with fewer deleted each cycle. All results had matching m2ts file sets even with only the first timeline file deleted. The streaming file failed when the first file (black color for fading to first picture) was included. For some unknown reason, the whole project burned correctly when I increased the first file from 2.6 seconds to 5 seconds. I've got one hybrid DVD which plays on my bluray player, and I'll be checking how stable it is.
Thanks again for all your effort and I hope you find something more solid causing the issue. Changing the length of one file in a project should not affect success.

Re: AVCHD files truncated when burned to disc
Hi Danamac
Very good news that you found a fix.
I did try that with your files and indeed increasing the black color duration does fix the problem.
Very strange that whatever is causing the issue is also retained when rendering the project to a M2ts file, but only showing when authoring that file?
I have tried replicating the issue using my own files but each time things work out ok.
I replaced the color clip with a Jpeg image thinking it may be the type of black used but still gave a problem.
Difficult to believe that this is happening?

Re: AVCHD files truncated when burned to disc
If I was a programmer at Corel, I'd want to look at the code on this. There's a good chance the same code is in X9. Maybe the chance of seeing this again is remote, but I'm someone who wants to know why when I fix anything. I don't feel like we won this one. I'll be changing to Windows 10 this month, so hopefully I'm not in for too bad a ride in general.
Thanks again for your time on this.
Regards,
Dana

Re: AVCHD files truncated when burned to disc
Hi Dana
I have just repeated the tests with a shorter project, your vsp cut down to 3 minutes.
I still have the problem.
But when I tried to replicate using my files things worked ok.
I am testing using CVSX9, and I am the same as you and want to know why, I guess we are pretty similar in that respect.
As for Corel I will go down that route, but if it’s a one-off and I we cannot replicate it; then I doubt they will be interested, but certainly I will make them aware.
