I need to show animated concentric circles/rings coming off a photo. It is to show how the radio waves of a mobile device broadcast off of the device. The only way I know to do this is to create an animated gif of the rings and overlay them on top of the video/image layer and setting the mask/transparency to get rid of the animation background. The problem with this is the rings look "old fashioned". I was thinking I could use a series of the FXRipple effect but I need show two of them coming from two different devices at the same time.
Is there a better way to do this and make it look good?
Thanks so much for your help!
