Since I first installed PI 10 on my system it accesses the floppy drive every time I open it but know it has become a nuisance because the software is constantly accessing the floppy with no reason. Just keeps doing it repeatedly and I can't get any work done.
I have tried disabling all the other active processes in the system but it does the same thing. I have also installed the latest patch also to no avail.
Does anybody have a clue to what may be causing the problem?
Thanks.

re: Problems with PI 10
Maybe it's because of Ulead AutoDetector which tries to look for connected digital camera or memory card readers. It sometimes mistakes the floppy drive as a card reader if not properly set.
Open Digital Camera Wizard from the File menu (this applies to both PhotoImpact and Photo Explorer. Then if the Camera drive or card reader is set to A:\, click on A:\, click on A:\ and change it to another drive.
