An odd thing
When rendering a project the process stops at 99%, consistently. I traced the problem to three m2ts files. When they were eliminated, the process went to termination without error. The files were originally MOV's, from my Fugifilm X S-1 camera, that were converted to m2ts with other software. Something was not right with the conversion as it caused the failure. When I let VS X8 do the conversion, It was successful. Did anyone else ever have problems with m2ts files?

Re: An odd thing
I found he culprit. It was the encoder. When I used Video to Video, that caused the problem. Using VideoRedo solved the issue.

Re: An odd thing
Hi
I have a Panasonic 900 camcorder and use MTS / M2ts files.
I do not have any problems using these files with Video Studio.
Video Studio recognises my files, can auto set the project properties to match.
Share and render the files using the original properties, and burn a Bluray Disc again using the original properties.
I have also used some small Mov from my Canon 7D camera, these were rendered to M2ts using Video Studio, ultimately burning a disc, no problems.
Using a third party converter may cause the new files to be troublesome to Video Studio.
Its difficult to say how good converters are especially the free software, you get what you pay for.
I have never used VideoRedo so cannot comment on that particular converter.
I do know that many can only provide progressive video, not all would retain the interlacing.
Although I assume your Mov’s to be progressive.
As you say Video Studio X8 converts the Mov’s ok whats the problem?
