Audio Sync Problem

Hiya,

I've been trying out VS8 and am having audio sync problems with my burned DVD. Everything is fine during editing, but on the DVD the audio is ahead of the video.

I see some old posts about this but none that reference any kind of fix. Can anyone tell me if this has been resolved yet?

No it has not. We are all (im)patiently waiting for the fix from Ulead. Assuming you are using the recommended procedures (see top post) I have had some recent success by doing the following.

I found that my out of sync problems started around the 1 hour mark of my projects. So I then broke up my project into smaller segments and rendered them individually, then insterted them prior to the burning stage.
I also reverted back old DVD burn files (prior to the "patches") as was suggested in an earlier post (it may have been on the old forum).

I did both of these at the same time so I'm not sure which fixed the problem.

If you need the old files let me know and I'll forward them to you.

hmm, I'm just working with the trial version at the moment so I'm not sure if what you suggest will work. My test DVD was only 30 minutes long as well. Still I'm willing to give anything a try. Could you forward me the files?
