PSPx7 issues

Post by brucet »

I have encountered a couple of niggling issues in the past few days that I getting on my nerves. I'm hoping someone may help me out. :D

I've been using x7 now since it was released. Everything has been relatively 'fine'. The last few days something has happened that I can't figure out.

I use Vignette a lot to finish off my photos. A few days ago Vignette would open but the 'options' would vanish as soon as the 'After' view appeared. (It would open and show the Before and the options but as soon as the After popped up the options would vanish). Now when I mouse over where the options are they would reappear. Sometimes they would stay and other times they would vanish again). Any clues on what's happened? It doesn't happen every time but about 50% of the time.

The other niggle is in the Adjust/Chromatic Aberration Removal. My presets keep vanishing! I would create a preset. Save it. Everything works fine for a few sessions then they vanish.

I'm not sure if both issues are related or not but both issues have only started in the past few days.

Any ideas?

Regards

Have you tried deleting and rebuilding all cache files? Sometimes that helps when strange things happen.

File/Preferences/Reset preferences... > Delete all cache files. (Active caches rebuilt on restart.) OK, then restart PSP. It can't hurt.
