If I run the script directly from the script menu it works fine.
If I run the script as a bound script on a custom toolbar it reports script is not trusted.
Triple checked and the script names are correct and from the right locations.

Re: BUG: PSPX8 - Trusted scripts on custom buttons not trust
After further testing I can confrim this is definitely broken.
If the script is bound to a button, toolbar or menu drop down it is never processed as trusted.
But if run from the scripts selector drop down it works correctly.

Must be one of those inconsistent bugs. Works for some, doesn't for others. I just ran a script that prints the result of os.getcwd() from my toolbar and it ran just fine.

Re: BUG: PSPX8 - Trusted scripts on custom buttons not trust
I have a number of bound scripts on a custom toolbar and they all work with no issues.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

It is only trusted scripts which are failing for me - it reckons they are not trusted....Kathy_9 wrote:I have a number of bound scripts on a custom toolbar and they all work with no issues.

Re: BUG: PSPX8 - Trusted scripts on custom buttons not trust
This does seem rather random as at least a couple of the bound scripts I referred to are in my trusted folder and they work. I've seen this before with PSP where what works for one person is broken for another.
Here is one of them.

Re: BUG: PSPX8 - Trusted scripts on custom buttons not trust
Hmm, very strange....
So I created a new identical binding and dropped it onto the same menu.
One works, one doesn't!!
The paths are absolutely identical for each, but one reports it's not a trusted location (it is) and the other works fine.
If you have the same problem the best I can suggest is - re-create the bind and button/drop-down etc.
