I'm very new to video editing. I understand that in order to use and edit the MOV video files from my Olympus camera I have to install a driver? How do I do this? Where do I find them? Where is the driver installed? In the program, on my computer?
Thanks.

You have to download and install the latest version of QT from here: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL837?locale=en_US

Re: Driver for MOV files
Thanks Ken. And installing QuickTime on my PC will then allow me to work with a MOV file in VideoStudio Pro X8.5?

Re: Driver for MOV files
Hi freedda
Mov is QuickTime, it is just a wrapper containing the video stream, there are many variations and indeed camera manufacturer do tweak the codecs to suite their needs.
Hopefully your Olympus files will work with Video Studio.
By the way Installing Video Studio also installs a version of Quicktime 7.4.4
Only you can tell us if you have problems with the Olympus video.
What problems have you been having, if any?
