Have you dropped by the blog yet? [ASP]

Post by Alex Brazeau »

Hi everyone, just dropping by today with a link to the blog we've recently launched, Points of View - http://blog.paintshoppro.com. It's a new hub we've created to help you learn more about the Corel products you use, provide you with updates and helpful tips, introduce you to some truly talented photographers from the community, and lots more!

I just posted our latest Fan Friday gallery, a bi-weekly collection of community-submitted photos. We've been receiving some really great photos so far and I hope some of you from the forum will send in some of your own photos to share on the blog. Here's a link directly to this week's gallery: http://blog.paintshoppro.com/fan-friday-gallery-5/

For those asking for updates, I'll have announcements on a few things next week, so stay tuned for that. Cheers and have a great weekend!

After visiting the blog I installed the latest service pack. After 5 minutes I found the following problems:
Highlight tool is useless.
Enable Local Contrast turned my screen black.
Deleting a file, took ages (a problem I wrote about months ago).
There was no Auto-scanning or dropdown list for the external editor although I could set the editor by browsing.

I have been using Lightroom CC and am now trying Capture One Pro both of which give better image quality than ASP. I haven't seen a reason to switch back to ASP with this update.
