Purchased the upgrade for 8.5 and download the 3 files for the package including Bluray. When I try to install, the Whizard fails, seems near the end, and says Whizard failed, no change to your system, try again later. -9 appears in the box. Running Win 8.1 and upgrading from VS 7 Pro. Waiting for an email from tech support. Not very happy about no real time tech support for a newly purchased product that doesn't work.

Sorry you are having issues installing the program.
I had a similar issue installing regarding QuickTime, seems I had the latest version of QT the VS installer did not like that and terminated the installation.
I have had a message before relating to QT versions but the installation always completed ok.
To fix this I uninstalled QT via programs and features then re-installed VS ok.
Maybe try that
First delete the Setup files from
C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel
Just in case they are corrupt.
