Upgraded to X8.5

Post by carl365 »

Hello folks, this morning I upgraded to X8.5 pro. Everything went perfect. My question is now I have both X7 and X8.5 on my machine. Seems they are independent programs.
I assumed when I upgraded to X8.5, it would update or overwrite the X7 but it didn't. No problem, just wondering if the upgrade went correctly?
Thanks!

Yes they are independent programs. You can delete X7 if you are pushed for space, but no need otherwise. Some of us here have several versions on the one computer -- in the case of the Admin people and Mods, that is so we can fire up an earlier version a user might be having problems with. But they all work independently of each other -- though you can only open one version at a time.
