Blending RGB images from Astrophotography
Astronomers often use monochrome cameras and generate Red, Green, and Blue layers to yield color photos. Is there a tutorial for Corel Paint Shop Pro X6 that would show how to merge the layers into a final image?

Re: Blending RGB images from Astrophotography
Not having the images that you have, try this
1. Load three different images. Crop or resize so that they are the same size.
2. Image 1 - Image > Split Channel > Split to RGB. Delete the blue and green images and keep the red image
3. Image 2 - Image > Split Channel > Split to RGB. Delete the red and blue images and keep the green image
4. Image 2 - Image > Split Channel > Split to RGB. Delete the red and green images and keep the blue image
Each of these red, blue and green images are greyscale images only.
5. Image > Combine Channel > Combine from RGB
This will combine the red, blue and green from three different images and give a somewhat posterised image, but at least it gives you the idea of what pprocesses you need to do with your three images of starfields.

Re: Blending RGB images from Astrophotography
In additional to the RGB images, I also generate a "Luminance" image. Is the process to combine that into the final image similar?
