Pro dad mercalli has a blue x across video?

Pro dad mercalli has a blue x across video?
I updated from x5 to x8 a few months ago and then I think is might have updated to 8.5 yesterday. Everything seems to be working great, seems to be the best I have seen it. But when I used mercalli prodad there is a blue x across the video. The first one I did I had checked split screen and grid and sure enough when I rendered the finished video it had a split screen and grid in it. So I did it again with out those options checked and now it has the blue x. I bought the x8 ultimate version , I can't see a place to put any license. And it does not ask for a license key it just has a blue x. Doug

Hi Doug
Just to explain, there was a problem with the 8.5 service pack, Corel have provided a Hot Fix to correct this.
However the program Check for updates should find the new patch?
