Font question

Post by bianson »

I have a psp file, created by one of my staff, that I need to confirm the font used. The staff member has since left the company and I can't open psp files with photoshop and wonder if anyone would open up a file or two on my behalf, to confirm the font used?

I tried to attach a psp file to this post but psp extensions are not allowed? I zipped it up and it seems that's allowed as an attachment. Appreciate any help you can give me on this.

Bob

That file does not include a text layer. It's all graphics. So you may have to use a font identification service.

You'll find us willing to open files for you but if you wanted to try opening them yourself inside of Photoshop you could use this plugin

Thanks LeviFiction. My problem is that I can only see the name of the file so I am unsure which one has the text layer I need. Instead of dumping off a bunch of files here for review, I will try your link. That's really helpful and alternatively, a font id service of some sorts.

None of the three images contained a text layer where the font could be identified. they were all background and/or raster layers. After opening I've saved all three as jpgs so you can see them.

One of the files does contain the name of two fonts that apparently this person liked. Not sure if that helps or not.

Thanks kathy_9, that exactly what I needed to know. Book Antiqua and Calibri. Many thanks for your help.
