Re: post an image
Hi Ken
First you need to create an image about 500 x 700px, not actually sure of the size limit, but if to large the forum will give an error indicating the actual max size.
To copy say a properties window, using Alt+ PrtSc will copy the actual active window to your clipboard
Then you can paste to an Image editor to save / create a Jpeg image.
Pressing PrtSc will copy the entire desktop as you see it, that certainly would be to large so you would crop in the image editor.
Once you have created the image you attach to your post using the Upload Attachment tab at the bottom of the post
Browse for the image
Then add File
Then place curser in position on post for Place in Line

After you have clicked on 'Post Reply' and the box where you type your reply has opened scroll down the page to find 'Upload attachment' - click on it
The option to choose the attachment will appear - click on 'choose file' and the Windows "open" window will open allowing you to browse to the image you want to attach - select it - and then click the 'open' in the bottom corner of the 'open' window
this will take you back to the forum with the name of the file displayed - click on "Add File"
After a few seconds as the file uploads you will then be shown this screen - put the cursor in your text box where you want the image to appear and click "place inline" - this will put the attachment text in your reply box so
Finish typing your reply and press the 'submit button as normal

Re: post an image
Hi Brian
I am using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer
The image you show for Choose a File shows on my screen as "Browse".
All other details seem the same, strange?
is this caused by a difference in browser?

Re: post an image
FWIW, the new Microsoft Edge browser which comes with Win 10 also shows Browse, and not Choose File. But I just checked and Chrome on Win 10 shows 'Choose File' so it is really a question of browser rather than OS!
