[Linux] Missing Adjustments/Features in Trial Version

Post by cmcginty »

I'm testing out the trial version with some JPG files and for some reason it looks like there are some issues with Basic Adjustments module. When comparing some images I edited in DarkTable and right now I can't get the same results in Aftershot Pro. Are there any limitations in the Trial version? :-(

1) There are no White balance modes, only "As Shot" is shown in the drop down.
2) DarkTable has a "Shadows" slider, what is the equivalent in Aftershot?
3) The "highlights" selector does not function in Aftershot. Maybe it only works with RAW files? It works with JPGs in DarkTable.
3) In DarkTable there is a "compress" slider that give very good image results. Is there an equivalent feature in Aftershot Pro?

Thanks
