Painshop Pro X8 - Where is Thinify? How to thinify?

Post by Jolo100 »

I am running Paintshop Pro X8 using Win 10.

I seem to recall a "Thinify" function that was available to make the object of a photo look a little thinner, the Thinify command.
I don't see it in PSP X8.

Is Thinify available? If not, how can I do a similar edit to a photo, to allow a person in a photo to look thinner?

Thanks for your time and expertise. :D

Thinify was part of the Makeover tools.

The make over tools are under the Red Eye tool. Click on the arrow next to the red eye and you'll see the Make Over tool. Select that then on the Tool Options palette you'll see Blemish Fixer, Toothbrush, eye dropper, suntan, and thinify.

Thinify isn't only good for an instant diet, but also to bring, say flowers, closer together (if there is a gap for instance). Experiment with the strength and promote the background first.

I also like using the grid warp tool to loose some pounds or a little double chin. Thinify is ok but doesn't do much for the shape of the profile as a whole. Grid warp will give you much more control over a little dunlap (belly done lapped over the belt) or double chin. Instant diet effect.....

My favourite tool for adjusting body measurements is the Warp Brush on low Opacity (not the Mesh Warp).
It makes a lot of people (not only ladies) happy :-)
