I've long had a problem with being unable to move 3d-party files to subfolders (though I can copy them). But since my last update, I can't copy or move ANY images. Drag and drop does not work, and there are no Copy or Move options on any of my menus. Since I organize by subfolders, this makes the program useless until I find a fix.
I'm running AfterShot Pro 2 on Windows 7 Pro x64. I can't tell you which version of ASP this is, because there's no "About AfterShot Pro" entry on the Help file, but "heck for updates" says there are no later versions.

Re: Can't copy or move files
That sounds weird, and suggests there may be something wrong with your installation. Do you get the ASP splash screen as it is opening? If so, the version number appears in the bottom left of it. But what sounds really weird is that your don't have 'About AfterShot Pro', which in my set-up is directly above "Check for updates"... FWIW, the current latest version is 2.2.1.64.oldmaven wrote:I'm running AfterShot Pro 2 on Windows 7 Pro x64. Have you thought about reinstalling?

Moving files (drag them to different folder) is broken also in Linux (3 different machines with Fedora 21/22) - version in ASP versions 2.2. Application crashes.

It no longer crashes, but still does not move file.Hobgoblin wrote:See viewtopic.php?f=94&t=57338 fora possible fix.bear_sk wrote:Moving files (drag them to different folder) is broken also in Linux (3 different machines with Fedora 21/22) - version in ASP versions 2.2. Application crashes.
Re: Can't copy or move files
Same here, 2.4.0.119 / Debian Linux, no move possible. Makes ASP quite useless in organizing photos. The only "fix" is to revert to 2.1.* version.

Re: Can't copy or move files
I reverted to 2.1.0.40, and all is cool.
Now, if only I could disable the nag screens reminding me of updates, lest I forgetfully acccept the update and screw up drag and drop again.
