I have updated to X8.5.
But now the ProDAD plugins don't open.
Rotopen Script and Vitascene ask for registering or inserting a licence...why?
These programs suppose to be free when I bought version X8.
Why don't they work witn X8.5?

I have tried Hotfix and it doesn't fix it!
Any other solution?

Because Corel made a mistake with their service pack, they then corrected that mistake by providing a HotFix

I have to say that it worked for me and I assume others.

I don't understand why you are having problems with the Hotfix

Can you tell us the version number of your program, go to the Help menu and choose About, showing the version as 18.5.0.1 or similar
What do you see?

Now go back to Help and choose Check for Updates, what happens then?

I have had troubles, too. I installed the update and the Hotfix, and the New Blue Titler crashes my machine. Everything else seems ok.

Does someone have the link for the vitascene hot fix. Getting error measage in VS 9. Looking for license.

The X8.5 Hotfix is at http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/suppor ... ion-tab_2= However, I am not sure that will fix a licensing problem in X9.

My software says there are no updates. So im prob not missing a hot fix. Any idea why i might get that message? Maybe i should check on ver 8 32b that i recently installed. If i activate it there,maybe it will carry over to 9?

Working in VX8 on my computer but not in X9. Has anyone seen this issue in x9?

This is the error message I am getting. Any chance this can be relates to my installing VSX8 after I installed X9???

The only time I have seen messages such as that one is when someone has, in this case Vitascene, installed in an earlier version that it came with, but then has simply copied the .vft files to a later version which its licence does not recognise.

Did Vitascene work in X9 without a message before you installed X8? If it did and does not do so any longer, then I can only agree that it would seem that the X8 version of Vitascene overwrote the X9 installation and thus imposed an X8 licence when you run X9.

You should, however, be able to run the X9 bonus features again to reinstall the versions licensed with X9. It would be interesting, though, in that case, to see if the X8 licence still worked in X8. Mind you, I have several versions of VS, each installed consecutively and all with Vitascene, and all continue to work without any such message.

I think your idea to install bonis content again might be a good one? What wlse is in that bonus content? Would it overwrite all the NB essentials ive installed?

Maybe i just call corel monday and they supply me w what i need for vitascene?

Since X8 was installed second, does it become the default program im the registry?

Why do i always get the craziest of errors!!

Copy the folder vft_plug located in C\ProgramFiles\Corel\CorelVideoStudioX9, (or X8) to your desktop, then reinstall the Bonus Content, check that location again and replace any missing folders from your backup copy
It is always preferable to install VS in sequence, VSX8.5 then VSX9, there have been issues if the correct sequence is not followed
Open the Bonus Feature folder, then open the Plugins_X64 folder, now you can select which individual features you want to install

Which vft folder do i want to put on the desktop? X8 w the plug in correctly installed or X9 where he vita scene not working?
I guess x 9 bc that is the bo us content i need to reinstall??
