autorecovery files

Post by wendymaree »

I had a laptop crash, followed by a psp crash and therefore haven't been able to get access to my work. Once the program has been re-opened after a crash, the auto recovered file doesn't reappear, unfortunately. I think I've located the files - under C:/Users/username/AppData/Local/temp etc - but all the files are saved as 'tmp' and therefore can't be manually opened. Does anyone know of any work around to access the files saved by auto recovery?

Virtual roses and chocolates offered in gratitude to anyone who can answer. I think many people would like to know the answer to this one.

Probably won't work but have you tried changing the extension from tmp to PSPImage and seeing if PSP will open it that way?
