Yellow cast is back

Post by carl365 »

I have a pale yellow cast on everything even the white on the materials palette is yellow. Tried numerous times adjusting the white balance but nothing works. Is there a setting I'm overlooking?

Using Paintshop Pro X7 Ultimate.

Thanks!

Fixed! (at least for now) For those with this problem, here's what I did. > File > Color Management > Monitor profile > my monitor was listed. > changed to: sRGB color space profile.icm

Seems unchecking "color management" also works.

Given that PSP is mostly used by the general consumer market customer it is my opinion that the sRGB profile should be the default with installation of the program because most such users are not familiar with color profiles and don't even calibrate their monitors using the OSD let alone more sophisticated equiptment. More professional users would already know about this stuff and go into color management at the outset to make choices appropriate to their workflow.

Thank you. I was going bonkers trying to get rid of the yellow. I contacted Corel Support and got knowhere. I unchecking "color management", and it works a treat. Must have been the way I originally set up my Corel PaintShop Pro 2019 Ultimate. Again, thanks.
