"Invalid Serial Number" error upon installation

I just purchased a sealed boxed copy of X7 and I get the dreaded "Invalid Serial Number" error when attempting to install on a 64 bit windows 10 machine. Anyone have a clue how to resolve? The Serial # printing is clean and clear on the CD sleeve so I'm sure I have copied it correctly.

Update: I answered my own question. What I thought was a "W" in the Serial numbers was actually VV instead. They print the V's so close together they are easily mistaken for a W. In fact another user had the same comment on this board which is how I discovered it.
