Hi
In what way do you mean compatible.?
Give more details of your problems.
The projects used in motion studio can be transferred directly to Video Studio, although I don’t recall testing that option?
You can of course use MS3D to create a video file, then open that in VS.
I am running Windows 10 for the time being so I don’t have the programs installed and cannot test. Given that Windows 10 is causing me headaches I may be back to W7 very soon.
Hopefully others running the program can comment?

Now, when I open Motion Studio 3D I can't find the option: "Export to VideoStudio" like I use to when I had the VS X6.

Hi
I have just installed the program.
I can see the Export to Video Studio via the File Menu but the option is greyed out, not available.
I assume that the program is not seeing Video Studio installed.
As I say I am running Windows 10, hopefully others can check this feature.
I will install X6 to see if that works? I’ll let you know later….

Re: Is the Ultimate X8.5 compatible to Motion Studio 3D?
Hi
I have installed X7
Although Export to Video Studio is greyed out in Cool3D, I am able to save the project as a C3D file.
That file will open in Video Studio X7 and X8 using the normal import video options.
It may be a windows problem, certainly there is an issue here
Given time I will try other options to try to find a solution.
Maybe explore patches and updates
But at least you can use the C3D in VS

Re: Is the Ultimate X8.5 compatible to Motion Studio 3D?
I found the same things as Trevor. Export to VS greyed out. However, I never use that option anyway. I always use Create Video File and insert that in VS and still don't have problems. So for me it is not a biggie. In fact, I can't even say if I ever recall Export to VS being active, though of course it may have been. Just that I never used it.

Hi Ken
It was certainly active when we beta tested Cool 3D, cannot remember what Video Studio version was current at the time. ( a few years ago now)
As I mentioned I was able to import C3D files to Video Studio timeline, but not automatically from Cool 3D

Re: Is the Ultimate X8.5 compatible to Motion Studio 3D?
I assume your references to Cool 3D were meant to be Motion Studio 3D. Cool 3D was of course an even more distant ancestor of MS 3D, and had come out long before I at least had begun video editing, so I for one was never involved in beta testing it!
