Hello all,
I have, what should be, a fairly easy question to answer. I routinely use the Voice-over feature in CVS Pro X8 for narration. When I am speaking, the audio of the video on the video track is either muted or not playing. I can only see the video playing in the preview window. This forces me to commentate in silence basically. Where do I set the configuration to have CVS play the video's audio track as I am recording voice?
Thanks
David

Re: Voice-over with Video Audio On
I was right! It was an easy answer and I found it while digging into the program!
Settings > Preferences > Edit tab > under Audio section, check mark Enable audio while scrubbing
By default, this is turned off. I guess I should have looked a little harder earlier before posting but this may assist someone else who needs this feature enabled. If you do use this feature, make sure you have the playback volume on the computer turned low so the microphone does not pick up the video audio while speaking. I have it just loud enough for me to hear it but the mic on my headset doesn't.
Thanks for looking!
