Hi Jojo,
It's nice to see a Caper on the site. I've been trying to find someone close by to talk with and see how they use PSP but unable to find anyone in the Metro area. It would be great to find another photographer using PSP to share tips and techniques with. Although I am an amateur photographer, I would like to improve my skills with post-processing and for me that is sitting down with someone and asking questions. Thank you for saying hello.

Tim, maybe you could post that request on the Corel PSP facebook group? You might reach many more people there.

Thank you cassel for your suggestion. I will need to get someone to post it for me as I'm not a member of any of those type of websites. Thank you again.

Some people (and I don't know if this applies to you) don't have a Facebook or similar social media account simply because of privacy issues. I'm one who is concerned about privacy issues but do have a Facebook account. The trick is to open the account but don't put info in your profile that you don't want to share at all. You can just not put any info at all in your profile if you prefer. Then don't use the account for posting a bunch of stuff like most people do. In my case, I don't post anything at all as a first instance. I also limit viewers to family and friends. This allows me to get notifications when family and friends post, and even then I don't check that stuff out very often but there are times when it becomes important and I'm able to do so. So if privacy is your concern you can still have an account that gives you some benefits without sharing any real info about your self. Just a thought.

I do similar.
You don't have to put true facts about yourself and can create a profile which is you but not you. eg I never put my true date of birth on any profile that has no right to have that info. Government sites yes, social media and forum sites no. (date of birth is one of the things that banks use to identify you in a phone conversation or interview too easy for scammers to use if they can get that from a public profile.)

I only have as friends , family and people that I have actually met or ones that have an acceptable reason for adding me (one looking for relatives with the same name) .
You can also unfriend and block people as well also change privacy settings so that people see as little about you as possible except for actual friends.

Being wary about having a facebook profile is similar to not writing letters (yeah I am in my late 60s so I remember those) because people might see your return address on the letter, or may get your fingerprints off the letter.
You can also join various groups of like minded individuals and sometimes these are closed groups.
And you can make complaints of bugs on the Corel facebook page and perhaps get better attention there.
