Problems with initial configuration

I am trying to transition from Lightroom (and Creative Cloud) to ASP2 but have hit a hurdle at the first chance. When I launch ASP for the first time I get to choose the folder locations for settings and catalog. Following this I enter my email address to register ASP but the next screen just comes up as a white box with no contents to click. My only option appears to be to close the box and thus the initial setup fails. Has anyone else seen this? I have tried removing ASP and also removing all registry entries without success.

I've sorted my own problem - but not via a normal means. I decided to buy ASP anyway and reinstalled. With the registered version I was able to get past the registration screen that appeared to be causing me all the problems.
