How to delete "Triple Scoop Music" from launching VS X8.5?

Corel have advised that they too can reproduce this and found that the problem goes away if you remove MyDVD. They are currently working on an updated version of MyDVD... Mind you, I have no problem with the idea of removing MyDVD altogether as it is a fairly primitive program IMHO...

Thanks Ken, I can also confirm that removing the MyDVD package has cured the crash when playing Triple Scoop music.
Why that has anything to do with it ... no idea

and like Ken I did not find My DVD of much use either.
Even for the novice using a DVD Wizard its still pretty poor.

It's ridiculous how a simple, non of importance plain music/mp3 files wasted 40 man/hours among the VS team.
If it was done cleverly they would have just being placed in a directory under "content" , with a footnote in the manual/splash screen stating their location and the user can import them at will. Total man/hours.... 0.5 .

Well there were two issues going on here, the original posters question was answered by Brian in his first response.

The second raised by Larkin was a completely different issue.
MP3 crashing VS, Larkin said it may be associated with 32 bit version

I had to re-install VS 32bit to confirm that this was a problem as no other 32 bit users reported the this?
Once we were able to replicate the problem I passed the details to Corel who came back with a Hotfix..............

I do not count the hours I spend, if I did I would not be here.

Thanks All, I run a software company and if there is one thing that gets my goat is that my developers continually provide me with Bug fixes that they don't test. Aghhhh
I am sure though that even if they did test Id have to get my support staff to test again anyway. So what's happening here is not unusual and their programmers are probably paid pittance
