Scrolling through some folders of images very sluggish

I'm running the latest version of After Shot Pro 2 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine with 6GB of memory.

When I scroll through some folders the program is very very sluggish. Other folders are OK. The average file size in the folders that are sluggish are the same as in the folders that are not sluggish, about 24MB photos. I've tried upgrading my graphics driver, changing cache settings, and changing Open Cl, both turning it on and off and changing settings. Nothing seems to work.

Upgrading to the newest version hasn't helped either.

Why one folder with about 200 images scrolls quickly while another one with about 200 images does not baffles me...

Any ideas?
