Help - PSP X6 Activation

Hello,
My first post here. Long time PSP user on my old XP computer. Using Windows 7 now.

I bought PSP X6 Ult new on Amazon in July 2015 from a third party. I went to install it last weekend and I could not make it past the activation screen.
My steps were to
Start the setup file

Installation loaded up, I clicked I agree

The next screen asked for my serial number - I typed it in off of yellow sticker on the dvd sleeve (this step was repeated several times by me and my wife. We even purposely typed the wrong serial and got "incorrect password".)

The next screen was Validating Password and the white pop up box popped up with the "Activate" button. Clicked the Activate button and then I get the message "The serial number has not been enabled. Please contact the vendor..."

So I contacted the vendor and they told me to contact Corel.

I filled out the form on Corel's web site for problems with registration and a case was created on 8/22/2015. It's been a week and still have not heard anything back from them.

Is there anything else that I can do or has anyone else had this problem?

If you are a Facebook user you could try reaching out to them there. I have heard they monitor that page and are responsive.
