Re: Trouble with Magic Move in PSP X8
There were some problems with magic move that I encountered, though they haven't shown up recently.
Just to cover the steps to make sure:
1) Make a selection, preferrably with a feather for better blending.
2) Hit the "Magic Move" button on the tool options palette.
The tool should remain the same, if your tool changes to anything else, go back to the selection tool you had when you applied magic move.
3) Hover your cursor over the selection. The icon should change to look like the move tool (this is still the selection tool, the icon just looks like the move tool, do not select the move tool)
4) Left-click and drag the selection to where you want it. Release the left-mouse button.
5) PSP will apply magic fill to the area where the selection was. And the new selection will remain on a floating selection layer. You can continue to drag it around if the original location doesn't look quite right.
