This problem started with Windows 8 x64 and now it continues with Windows 10 x64.
Basically, whenever I am in the Manage window and I open a directory with pictures the program crashes while populating the thumbnails in the strip.
This happens every time.
The only way to make PSP work is to process the file in another program and then use "open with" to send this one file to PSP. Then I can work on that individual file.
I have the latest version, per Corel's site.
Is there a fix for this ?

Re: X4 crashing in Manage view when creating thumbnails
I assume you mean the 'latest' or fully up-to-date version of X4. If so, then I suspect you are going to be out of luck. Some people are already reporting that even more recent versions of PSP are not working properly with Windows 10. And Corel are unlikely to issue any updates for any version older than the current version which is X8.I have the latest version, per Corel's site.
Incidentally, you may want to change your Profile to reflect your current OS. Your current Profile says you are still using Win 7...
