I have a desktop and a notebook and use two different user accounts on both, one for work and one for my personal use.
A few questions:
1. Do I have to activate and register PSP X8 Ultimate for each user account on both machines?
2. Do I have to activate and register the other products that came along with it as well?
3. What is the maximum number of times allowed for activating and registering them?
I hope someone here can answer these...
TIA

Re: Number of activations PSP X8 ultimate
The PSP EULA allows you to install the program on up to three computers, though you are only supposed to have one turned on at any time! How they would expect to police that, though, is anybody's guess! But if you have two different accounts, then yes you would need to register under each account each time you reinstalled (or installed on a new machine using that account) since some of the goodies are only accessible after registration.1. Only if those other products indicate that registration is necessary. However, I don't recall every being hassled about registration of such products once any first registration has taken place.2. Do I have to activate and register the other products that came along with it as well?
I guess there is a maximum, but I don't know what it is. Certainly a small number of users here have raised the issue when they got messages saying they had reached the limit. Personally, I have never -- not once -- received such a message about PSP (or any other Corel product), and I install and reinstall them quite a bit. So I'd have to guess the limit is pretty generous. And in the case of those users, from the feedback I recall it seems all they had to do was contact Corel and the licence was renewed.3. What is the maximum number of times allowed for activating and registering them?

PC user account = 2
Notebook user account = 2
I guess that does not violate the EULA.
Okay, I launched the program on the same machine, different user account and it asked me to register. So I did. No activation request so far.Ken Berry wrote:Only if those other products indicate that registration is necessary. No problems registering on my PC so far. I guess I haven't reached the limit. Let's see what will happen when I install it on my notebook later.Ken Berry wrote:I guess there is a maximum, but I don't know what it is. Thanks, Ken!
