videostudio X8 TRIAL wont work on windows 10 64bit

I installed video studio X8 ultimate 64bit trial on my pc and It wont work
how can I solve the problem?

What problems are you having, please describe in detail.
I have no problem running the full version on W10 64bit.

Nor I. Please also tell us exactly how you upgraded to Win 10: did you simply let it update from your existing OS or was it a totally clean upgrade after which you installed (again) X8?

the windows 10 was a clean install (upgrade from windows 8.1 with > save nothing)
what happens is that when I launch video studio I get the registration screen
and after that no matter what I do (I enter email and register or press the cancel) nothing happens
I tried to run the program in windows 7/8 compatibility mode but it wont help.

Did you install VS from a disc or a download?
Maybe try unistalling, cleaning away all VS files and try installing again?

uninstalling and re downloading and installing did not help

Can the pc still connect to the internet, as it needs to. Is the pc part of a network that blocks traffic between applications and their home site? I couldn't install VS on a school network for this reason.

there is no connection problems...
I installed paintshop pro X8 (full version) and it works perfectly with no problems...

DId you remove all files before attempting a reinstall?
