how did you all get the plugins to work? I have the 64 bit version on my computer for the trial right now and none of my plugins will show up, even though i have directed them to locate them...

First, it depends on your plugins. Most of my plugins (and I have lots) are 32 bit, some that I have had since the days of Jasc's PSP 9. You have to use the 32 bit version of PSP to use these plugins. For the most part I was able to get them to work simply by pointing X7 to the existing plugins folders. I use the 32 bit PSP mainly because it works with so many of my existing plugins.

I did find a couple of newer 32 bit plugins that wouldn't even install into X7 but would install in Photoshop 32 bit, and was able to access them in X7 by pointing them to the proper Photoshop plugins folder after installing the plugin there. But that doesn't work every time as I recall. It's been awhile since I set all this stuff up so can't remember all the details.
